Our Kitchen Organization Favorites

Caleb and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. You can find us cooking weekly meals together, and even the occasional midnight-snack cupcake or two. Our kitchen is a special space for the two of us, and because it is so special to us, we like to keep it tidy, organized, and well-stocked with the gadgets and foods we love. Over the years, we have collected, tested, and trashed our fair share of kitchen gadgets or kitchen organization tools. We know what we like and what we don’t like. Linked below are a few kitchen organization favorites that have stood the test of time and are, as we believe, worth purchasing. I hope these gadgets and gizmos help you keep a tidy, organized, and beautiful kitchen space too!

Glass Spice Jars

We actually purchased our Glass Spice Jars at a local resale shop. We scored about 50 jars for $10, but organizing and labeling our spices has truly elevated our cooking experience. I would do this project all over again, even if we didn’t score such a great deal. I purchased these labels from Etsy for the jars.

Seagrass Storage Baskets

These Seagrass Storage Baskets from Target are all over our home. I use them in my office, on bookshelves, and in our closet. I have recently found them useful for miscellaneous items in the pantry too.

Egg Crate

Egg Crate

We started using an Egg Crate several years ago after my mom’s chickens began laying eggs of their own. We often came home with a basket filled with eggs but did not always have egg crates to store them in. So, we purchased a handy ceramic one and it is now one of our tested and true kitchen organization favorites too.

Pickling Jars

Pickling Jars

I love pickling cucumbers and red onions in the Summer months. I can’t wait to pickle more produce from our Summer garden, and Pickling Jars like these are great to have on hand if you enjoy gardening too.

We actually keep our flour and sugars in these floral ceramic jars from At Home, but I do have several Glass Storage Jars in our pantry for other ingredients I reach for on a daily basis like oats, protein powder, and granola.

Glass Food Storage Containers

Glass Food Storage Containers

I will always purchase microwave-safe glass food storage containers. They make warming up leftovers much easier and avoid dirtying a second dish. Our favorite food storage containers are from Ikea, but they have been sold out on our last few visits to Ikea. I have heard great things about World Market’s Food Storage Containers too.
