Quick and Easy Summer Dill Pickles

I have been obsessed with making pickles recently. They are the perfect snack and pickling is a great way to make use of an abundance of Summer garden cucumbers. This dill pickle recipe is also truly very easy.

Depending upon how you like your pickles (sweet vs. sour), you may want to make a few adjustments to the recipe below. I like my dill pickles quite sweet, so I add extra sugar (1/2 T. more) and a less vinegar than most recipes call for. I actually made about 3 batches of dill pickles before I really nailed down my own perfect recipe. Feel free to adjust and experiment with this base recipe to create your own perfect dill pickles. I won’t be offended if you make adjustments – I promise!

I’ve eaten these pickles with sandwiches and charcuterie boards, and I even took them along to a Memorial Day cook-out. They make the perfect addition to any Summer meal (expect, maybe breakfast, but I won’t judge you if you do eat them in the wee hours of the morning). Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think on Instagram. Enjoy!
